Hi there! I’ve been working at the Essex Wig Centre for 6 months now, and I’ve known Pierre and James for many years. They actually trained me at the Pierre and James Hairdressing Academy!
Last year, I went through breast cancer and, after recovering, I was offered the opportunity to take over the Wig Centre.
Let me tell you, it’s been the best decision I could have made.
It’s given me back my confidence, and the staff here are just wonderful. They’re so friendly and supportive, which makes all the difference.
We stay pretty busy here, and most of our clients are understandably anxious when they first come in. Losing your hair due to cancer, alopecia, stress, or any other medical condition can be really traumatic and stressful. But that’s where we come in! We have a selective range of wigs in stock, and it’s always such a rewarding experience to see our clients walk out with a wig they love. They leave with their heads held high, with newfound confidence and a smile on their face that they might not have had when they first came in. It’s a truly special feeling to be able to help people in that way.
