If you’re experiencing hair loss or thinning hair, the best place to start is with a private one-to-one consultation with Tina at the Essex Wig Centre.

In a calm, relaxed and completely private setting, Tina will guide you through the options available — helping you explore wigs, hairpieces, or hair enhancement solutions that may suit you.

There’s no pressure and no rush, just supportive advice from someone who truly understands.

Booking Your Consultation

The easiest way to arrange a consultation is simply to Tap to Chat with Tina.

From there you can request a quick contact form, submit your details, and we will arrange a convenient appointment for you.

To secure your booking, we ask for a £30 consultation deposit.

This deposit:

• Secures your appointment
• Allows dedicated one-to-one consultation time
• Prevents missed appointments

Your £30 deposit is fully deducted from the cost of your purchase if you decide to go ahead.

Consultations are typically available on Thursdays and Saturdays.

What Happens During the Consultation

Your consultation is a relaxed one-to-one experience where Tina takes the time to understand your situation and guide you through the available options.

During your appointment you will be able to:

• Try on a selection of wigs from our stock range
• Explore different colours and styles
• Find the most comfortable and natural fit
• Discuss solutions that suit your lifestyle and preferences

If the perfect style is not currently available in stock, Tina can order a selection of wigs specifically for you to try during a follow-up visit.

After You Choose Your Wig

Once you have selected your wig or hairpiece:

• Your £30 deposit is deducted from the final invoice
• Tina will guide you on care, styling and maintenance
• Optional wig care packs are available to help prolong the life of your wig

Our aim is to ensure your new hair feels natural, comfortable and easy to manage.

VAT Exemption for Medical Hair Loss

Clients experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions or treatments such as chemotherapy may qualify for VAT exemption on wigs and hairpieces.

To apply for this exemption, a letter from your doctor, hospital or medical practice confirming the condition is required.

Tina will guide you through this process if it applies to your situation.
